The Program
Freedom Academy will be an independent study program committed to the ideal that all students can learn without exception. Students, teachers, parents and all staff work to that end. Students are treated as individuals as each works to meet current
state standards through their own individualized academic program (IAP) with the guidance of family and Teacher Consultants (TC). For many this program will allow flexibility throughout the day, individualized learning experiences, self-paced rigor in completing assignments, and
experiential learning opportunities with family. The environment at Freedom will be one that encourages, challenges and nurtures both parents and students in a standards based program to be productive, independent thinking, values conscious individuals that understand in order to take
ownership one must work to participate passionately in their program.

reflect the same standards, time commitment to learning & days in class. Lack of parent participation, student progress, or non-compliance may be grounds for dismissal from the program.
